Why are your websites so affordable compared to standard design agencies?

How long does the entire process take from start to finish?
If we keep the momentum going together, it’s incredibly fast. Once we have our quick 15-minute coffee chat and you send us the content we need, your official build time begins. We hand-craft the layout and pass you the review link within 2 business days. Once you give us your round of polish notes, we can typically have your site fully live to the world in under a week.
Do I actually own my website, or am I renting it from you?
You own it, 100%. We do not hold your digital real estate hostage. Your domain name, your website design, and your content belong entirely to you from day one. If you ever decide to move your site somewhere else down the road, you are completely free to do so without any penalties or exit fees, just give us 30 days notice, and we’ll cancel at your next billing cycle.
Can I keep my existing domain name?
Yes, absolutely. If you already bought your domain name through Google Domains, GoDaddy, Namecheap, or anywhere else, you keep full ownership of it. Once your build week is complete, we will give you simple instructions (or handle the DNS settings for you) to point your existing domain directly to your new Crafthouse hosting.
Will my website look good on a smartphone?
Always. More than half of your local clients are going to look you up while holding a phone in their hand. Every single layout we build is designed from the ground up to look beautiful, load incredibly fast, and be easy to read on mobile screens, tablets, and desktop monitors.
What if I need time to get my website text and photos?
No problem – take the time and circle back. We’ll be here when you’re ready!
Is there a long-term contract for the maintenance plan?
No way. We keep things simple on purpose. The maintenance and care plan is strictly month-to-month. If your business changes direction or you ever need to pause your site, you can cancel at any time with no hidden cancellation fees, no commitments, and no hard feelings.
Who is my webmaster?
The same person who will design your site. You aren’t going to be dealing with outsourced support tickets or an automated AI bot (gross). You get the same professional developer who built your site from day one. When you request an edit or need technical advice, you are talking directly to the person who knows you and your brand.
How do the 15 minutes of edits work?
Every month, your maintenance plan includes 15 minutes of direct developer labor. This is perfect for quick adjustments, like swapping a photo, updating holiday hours, or tweaking a paragraph of copy. Just email your developer, and they’ll get it taken care of within a day.
What if I need more than 15 minutes of edits?
No problem! If you need bigger updates, such as new layout features or content rewrites, we keep it transparent. Additional development time is billed at a flat $125/hour in clean 15-minute increments. You’ll always get an upfront estimate first.
I got a web team and want to cancel the monthly maintenance. What do I do?
Congrats on the growth! Send us an email with 30 days notice, and we’ll get you squared away. If you email us on June 15th, you will still receive a bill in July, so try to let us know as soon as you can. Either way, we’ll use that time to get in touch with your new webmaster (if you want), make sure you have all your files, and hold your hand as we transfer everything, flawlessly.
What if I end up needing more than 3 pages, or something more customized?
In order to keep the workflow… flowing… we do not offer more than 3 pages for these builds. This is because we want to keep our word about the responsiveness of our team with your requests and the timeliness of our builds, which are both super quick! If you end up needing more work done, however, you can visit our mother agency, Cozort Creative Group. We’re just as friendly and human there – we just specialize in bigger builds.
